great experience but pricey stay
The personalized attention to my dietary restrictions was outstanding. The ambiance and layout of the garden suite provided a relaxing retreat.
The overall cost felt quite steep for a two-night stay.

Perfect retreat for couples wanting luxury
We had the pleasure of staying in a spacious stable suite with an enormous bathroom, two baths side by side! The food at the restaurant was spectacular, I mean the dinner was something I'd never tasted before, everything just hit the right notes.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but worth every penny.

barnsley house was stunning! we stayed in a suite, which was modern and clean. the location was great, just a short drive from the town center. a standout service was the warm welcome from the staff and the complimentary champagne at dinner. it made our anniversary celebration extra special.

we loved our stay at barnsley house! the staff were super friendly and helpful, always ready to answer any q's we had. the food was amazin, especially breakfast served to our room. the thoughtful touches like use of wellies, bikes, and dvds made our experience even better. also, the communal areas are really stylish, perfect for a cozy evening.
but, there were a couple of things that could be better. the furniture in our suite felt kinda outdated and some things seemed to be missing in the bathroom like a shower cap and shelf.

The suite was lovely, but the double beds were just two singles pushed together.

Improved signage for senior-friendly paths would be beneficial.

Cozy atmosphere with a lovely log fire.
During our stay, we encountered several issues that left us disappointed. The TV had very limited channels, which made our evenings less enjoyable than we'd hoped. some items were missing in the bathroom, such as a shower cap and shelf, which we found rather inconvenient. Given the high price of the room, I expected more attention to detail and better amenities.

Amazing cozy countryside escape
Just spent 3 nights here, and it's seriously a gem! The place feels so much like home, with only 18 rooms that are comfy and stylish. Loved the beautiful gardens and the dinners at the restaurant were top-notch! One thing tho, the room decor didn’t really scream Cotswolds. Still, awesome vibe overall!
